시놉시스 SYNOPSIS
도심을 빽빽하게 채운 횟집 앞, 작은 유리 수조 속 그 많은 넙치는 어디에서 온 걸까? 넓적한물살이팀은 바닥에서 만난 넙치의 이야기를 따라 바다로 향한다. 애도의 길 위에서 조우한 감금과 죽음, 해방의 기억을 퍼포먼스로 담아 화면 너머의 당신에게 손을 뻗는다. 함께 바닥에서 만나자고, 유리 벽너머의 당신과 나는 이어지는 존재라고.
While countless raw fish restaurants densely fill the city, where did all these halibut in a small aquarium come from? The team 'Wide Flat Fish' follows the whispers of halibut they meet on the ground and finally heads to the sea. On the journey of mourning, We reach out to you beyond the screen with memories of confinement, death, and liberation as a performance. Let's meet on the flat land as we are connected over the glass wall.

김민선 KIM Minseon
바다와 물살이를 주제로 예술 창작과 사회 운동을 넘나들며 활동한다. 생명 가득한 바다를 동경하다 스쿠버다이빙을 시작한 후 물살이와의 새로운 관계 맺기의 가능성을 발견했다. 창작집단 넓적한물살이를 운영하며, 해양환경단체 시셰퍼드 코리아에서 활동한다. 최근 작업으로는 책 <물고기 아닌 물살이 도감>을 썼고, 첫 다큐멘터리로 <바닥에서> 감독을 맡아 제작했다.
Based on the theme of the sea and the sea-life, she works across various art genres and social movements. After starting scuba diving with an admire for the ocean full of life, she discovered the possibility of re-building a whole different relationship with the sea-life. She runs the creative collective called 'Wide Flat Fish' and works for Sea Shepherd Korea, a marine conservation organization. As a recent work, she wrote the book named "Sea Life, not Sea Food", and directed "Flat Land" as her first documentary work.
